"WYCRAIL" Event 2019 - 2nd November 10am - 5pm
"WYCRAIL" is run by the High Wycombe & District Model Railway Society and has been a popular event for a number of years. It was previously at the John Hampden School but has established a better and bigger venue at the Cressex Community School, Cressex Road, High Wycombe, HP12 4UD. There is considerably more parking and this venue attracts a lot of visitors. Freelance layouts have been constructed by the club in "OO", "O", "N" and "EM" as well as American layouts in both "N" and "HO"."
Warley Model Railway Exhibition – NEC Hall 5 2019 date to be advised.
The Wrenn Railways Collectors Club currently attends the annual event run by the Warley Model Railway Club in November, known as the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition and held at the NEC, Birmingham.
The Warley show is the biggest event in the UK calendar — taking place at Hall 5 of the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.
There will be over 80 working layouts on display as well as over 100 trade stands. Something for everybody. The event's sponsors all of course have stands at the show — these being Hornby, Bachmann Europe, Graham Farish, PECO and Crécy Publications.
Also represented will be Dapol Ltd, Heljan, Oxford Diecast, Skytrex, Gaugemaster Controls & Mamod.
Access by train is to Birmingham International Station which is adjacent to the venue. If you are coming by car then parking for the whole day is £12.
Tickets can be bought at the door but why not book in advance and save money? Just call 0121 767 4099. There are further reductions for Senior Citizens and Families.
The event runs over a 2 day weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is normally the busiest day. Also present is a different full size locomotive on display every year in the centre of the hall.
